The Summer Institute for Union Women celebrates the solidarity of union women across boundaries of age, race, and nation. This summer, it brings us together in Portland, Oregon for skill building, education, and fun. Highlights of the week include in-depth classes to hone skills and deepen knowledge. Workshops and plenary sessions examine current issues.
The Institute will be held in a beautiful setting on the Reed College campus, 3203 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, OR 97202.

Registration and check-in takes place at Reed College on Tuesday afternoon, July 6. The opening session begins at 7:00 P.M. The conference will conclude by 2:00 P.M. after the graduation lunch on Saturday, July 10. To register, complete the attached form, including workshop choices, and return by June 4, 2010. The registration fee includes lodging, meals, classes, special events, and class materials.
Single room fee: $650 Double room per person fee: $525 Payment in full is due by June 4, 2010.
Information about rooms, recreation, and what to bring with you will be sent with your confirmation letter. Sorry, no rooms are available for nonconference partners or friends.
Commuter fee: $375
Payment in full is due by June 4, 2010.
Fee covers classes, special events, course materials, four lunches, and two dinners. Your confirmation letter will include additional information about meals and other services.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations received by June 4 will be refunded in full.
A limited number of scholarships are available, to be distributed on the basis of financial need. Please indicate your interest in receiving an application by checking the box on the registration form.
