Wisconsin in Perspective: Amy Goodman

Wisconsin is the first election to demonstrate the corrosive effects of the Citizens United v. FEC decision by the Supreme Court of the United States. Money now has a dagger pointed at the heart of democracy and its first victims will be the unions. The fight has begun anew, brothers and sisters. And this fight is for our very existence.  The article below, written by Amy Goodman, is posted on the Guardian is worth your time.  It’s a sobering assessment and will hopefully motivate all of us in the union movement that now more than ever we must do everything we can to stop the anti-union tide of big money and restore not just workplace democracy, but democracy everywhere in America.
