At the September 18, 2013 General Membership Meeting we will conduct nominations for our Local 88 Officer and Executive Board positions. All positions are for a 2-year term, except for the Trustee which is a 3-year term:
- Vice President
- General Government and Library, up to 5 positions (member must work in either DCA, DCM, DCS, Non-Departmental or Library departments)
- Health and Human Services, up to 5 positions (member must work in either Health or DCHS departments)
- Public Safety, up to 5 positions (member must work in either DCJ, MCSO or DA’s Office)
- Private, non-profit agencies, with 2 representatives (one member from Central City Concern and one member from Transition Projects Inc)
If you are interested in any of these positions, please attend the September meeting or ask someone to place your name into nomination. You do not need to be present to be nominated. Elections for all of these positions will be held on November 20, 2013.
