Please join us August 9, 3-6pm (in person or online) for a phone bank! We will be calling local 88 member action team (MAT) members. We have 268 MATs identified and it would be preferred to try and get at least 26 to 27 volunteers to help with the phone bank.

The main purpose is to get a sense of their enthusiasm for helping to execute contract campaign actions (Rallies, pickets, etc.) and attending monthly MAT meetings/briefings? Assess level of support and determine whether and how to move to the next step. You will be provided with a phone script and may use a landline at AFSCME or your own phone (whichever you prefer).

We hope to provide food and lost time to all volunteers.
