Join us in supporting AFSCME Local 88 Dentists who are in the midst of negotiating a new union contract. Dentists will be conducting informational picketing on:
Thursday, August 10th from 1 to 2pm at the following clinics:
Mid-County Clinic: 12710 SE Division St., Portland
Southeast Clinic: 3653 SE 34th Ave., Portland
The County is demanding our Dentists take major concessions in bargaining including the elimination of one-chair days that will impact their workload substantially all for the purpose of generating more revenue at the expense of quality patient care. Additionally, the County is refusing to increase salaries to a market rate for Dentists.
We will be picketing, drawing attention to this fight and ask that any Local 88 member who can attend to support our Dentists by going to one of the picket locations on Thursday, August 10 from 1 to 2pm.
