The AFSCME International Convention is August 12-16 in Los Angeles, CA. We will be sending a group of 10 from Local 88: our 4 officers (automatic delegates per our constitution) and 6 members. We have a total of 7 delegate spots and 7 alternate spots.
This election will determine our 3 elected delegates and 7 alternates (though only 3 alternates will actually attend the convention). Candidates were nominated at our General Membership Meeting on May 15th.
