Local 88 approved the purchase of a table with early entrance to the event in celebration of Jobs with Justice Portland’s 30th year, and more importantly to recognize the long bargaining season that Local 88 has been through in 2022. Union representatives were able to meet the special guests from Staten Island, ALU’s Chris Smalls and Derrick Palmer.
With our table, Grant Swanson had the opportunity to address the crowd in concert with the Oregon Nurses Association creating interest for our events at MCHD NE and the Multnomah Building.
Local 88 attendees included Sol Cohuo, Charlotte Garner, Jordana Sardo, Jackie Tate, Stacey Burton, Beth Kerwin, Shelley Ashford, Grant Swanson, and Jay Hunt.
