Our General Unit bargaining team met with the County management team on Thursday, July 28 (July 21 bargaining session had been canceled). While progress was made on certain items including Tentative Agreements on Article 12 Workers Comp, Article 15 Classification and Pay Ranges, Article 16 Pensions, Addendums C & E, we are still far apart from the County on Cost of Living Adjustments, other pay related issues and leave benefits. A more comprehensive update will be coming out next week.
We have three sessions coming up between now and Labor Day. Please join us in taking Solidarity Actions to Support Successful Contract Bargaining. Show your Green for the upcoming bargaining sessions with Multnomah County August 4, August 25 and September 1. Local 88 Physicians will be bargaining again on August 8, 30, and Sept. 12th.
